After opening this season in Japan, the Red Sox finally had their home opener and had the final celebration of the 2007 World Series Championship in a grand show that they've become quite good at putting on. Members from championship Patriots, Bruins and Celtics teams were all on hand as were the trophies. I think this was the first time all four major sports championship trophies won by Boston teams were together at once.
Here is a great column "Anything but a Yankees fan" by Boston Globe's Kevin Cullen that really sums up living in New England. He's got a few years on me, but everything he writes rings very true for me and most folks I know around these parts.
